i'm a genderqueer transmasc who loves web design and coding, despite knowing very little. i would describe myself as a "maker," that is to say, most of if not all of my hobbies are creative. i like to draw and i ought to spend more time with other mediums than i do. i LOVE to write and am currently in the process of materializing a story outline into 40k words of text. (i am procrastinating on said project by writing this right now, in fact.)

i have been a riot grrrl punk since high school, and would generally describe myself as goth and emo as well- you'll find most of my favorite bands listed below are riot grrrl, queercore, or post-punk bands. in the vein of that culture, i spend a decent amount of my time rescuing thrifted clothes from the dark depths of being horribly unstylish. if i'm not working on clothes that way, i'm cutting them into scrap fabric to repair my falling-apart patch pants.

my favorite tv shows and animes are breaking bad, neon genesis evangelion, cowboy bebop, attack on titan, avatar: the last airbender + the legend of korra (cuz duh!!), she-ra princesses of power, and steven universe. i love gay cartoons! my unequivocal favorite movies are the original spider-man trilogy directed by sam raimi. other favorites include mother! (dir. darren aronofsky), pearl (dir. ty west), sinners (ryan coogler), dogtooth (dir. yorgos lanthimos), blades of glory (dir. josh gordon and will speck), and hackers (dir. iain softley). my favorite bands are, in no particular order: 4th curtis, club sofa, sorry mom, bikini kill, le tigre, paramore, dazey and the scouts, willow smith, autoheart, green day, my chemical romance, the b-52's, the black eyed peas, doja cat, megan thee stallion, earth, wind & fire, fall out boy, the notorious b.i.g., sammy rae and the friends, cake, and the white stripes.
